In Portobello / Craigmillar ward we installed 5 hubs as shown in these plans CBR Phase A  Autumn Works – East

Forresters - Service change from kerbside to communal (Drum Brae / Gyle)

These works will see nearly 500 properties currently on kerbside service move to communal bins. This involves the installation of 20 bin hubs as shown in these plans.

Due to feedback from residents in this area, we paused the works for these bin hubs until further consultation has been completed. We will be in contact with residents and relevant Councillors in due course.

Oxgangs Park - Service change from kerbside to communal (Colinton / Fairmilehead)

These works saw nearly 150 properties which were on a kerbside service move to communal bins. This involved the installation of 7 large bin hubs which are shown in these plans.

The affected residents were sent letters about these changes. Council staff were on site during this switchover to engage with residents.

Tidy-up of bin hubs in Phases 1, 2, A, 3 and 4 (Forth, Inverleith, Fountainbridge/Craiglockhart, Morningside, Leith Walk, Leith, Craigentinny/Duddingston and Southside/Newington)

6 bin hubs were installed and 12 bin hubs were moved in these areas. Affected residents were notified of these by letter.
